Manchester Police are searching an ‘Asian’ male and his white accomplice for the rape of a 14 year old boy. The rape occurred around 5.45pm on Saturday 2nd June, in the Debenhams’ toilets near the Arndale Centre where he was abducted. African Joseph Mjemer 28, an illegal immigrant, has been awarded £17,360 by Judge Stephen Stewart QC at the High Court for his illegal detention. Mjemer arrived in the UK as a stowaway in 2003, convicted for over 20 offences in the three years following his arrival and was finally held by Home Office officials pending deportation as they tried to establish his country of origin.
