As the BBC and the National Union of Journalists continue in their ruthless campaign of racial and religious hatred against the English, and Christians, especially, in their own country, we look at the fine example set for us by King Alfred the Great of Winchester. The Rev Robert West lays out the facts that King Alfred was a great patriot, a great moralist and a great Christian. These are the three pillars for a truly enduring and great society. Let the 'wets' of the current Church and state in England, and the whole of Britain, take note. Had the BBC existed at this time . . . they would probably have vilified Alfred as a ‘racist’ because he wanted to keep his country, and kingdom, rather than to give it away to the Vikings, a foreign or ethnic ‘minority’.
