The Taliban and al-Qaeda as “unbeatable” because they are the logical end result of Islamic teachings, and will present a threat to all non-Islamic peoples and countries, was what army chief General Sir David Richards “forgot” to say in his recent comments on the military situation in Afghanistan.
Leeds-born Mohammad Sidique Khan, one of the 7/7 bombers: "Your democratically elected governments continually perpetrate atrocities against my people all over the world. Your support makes you directly responsible. Now you too will taste the reality."Speaking during the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show and in a later newspaper interview, Sir David admitted that Britain will never be able to “defeat al-Qaeda militarily.”
He did not address the next logical question (and none of his slavish interviewers did either) of why exactly British forces are in Afghanistan in the first place if the reason for them being there “cannot be defeated.”
Sir David went on to try and justify this inexcusable position by saying that the al-Qaeda threat “can be contained to allow Britons to lead secure lives.”
He said: “I don’t think you can defeat an idea. It is something that we need to battle against as necessary. But in its milder forms, why shouldn’t they be allowed to have that sort of philosophy underpinning their lives?
“I think it can be [a threat]; it is how it manifests itself that is the key, and can we contain that manifestation,” he added, referring to Islam in general and al-Qaeda in particular.
There are two important points which Sir David has either deliberately left out, ignored or possibly, just possibly, he does not want to admit them in public, and they are:
1. Al-Qaeda and Islamism are the logical end points and conclusion of Islam. That religion’s imperative is to conquer the earth for Mohammed.
This they aim to do either through violent subjugation (as in the multitude of historical examples) or by simply infiltrating and out breeding non-Islamic nations, such as what is happening in Europe and Britain today.
2. The “terrorist threat” which Sir David says threatens Britain is an internal problem which successive Tory and Labour regimes bear full responsibility.
The internal Islamist threat is from two sources: Muslims who have been allowed to settle in Britain through the mass immigration policies pursued for the past few decades; and the illegal and immoral foreign wars (which Sir David and his fellow Tory toadies fully support) which have served to further incite Muslims inside and outside Britain to commit acts of terror against our nation.
It is true that al-Qaeda “cannot be defeated” as it will be in existence as long as Islam exists.
The secret to containing Islam is not, however, to invade, bomb and destroy Muslim countries at random, as Sir David and his Tory/Labour masters insist.
There are only two ways in which the terrorist threat can be reasonably contained.
Firstly, the mass immigration policies of the past few decades must be halted and reversed, so that there is no longer a mass Islamic fifth column inside Britain.
Secondly, our nation must develop a foreign policy which includes strict neutrality in world affairs and which is designed to prevent Islamists from having any additional excuses to launch attacks on our people.
Only the British National Party has the clarity of vision and understanding to face these problems openly and to dispense the necessary cure.
