The last two days have been extremely hectic for our National Organiser Adam Walker and National Nominating Officer Clive Jefferson. After helping our team in Scotland meet their deadlines, Adam and Clive travelled through the night to Wales.
They met with Regional Organiser Brian Mahoney, Assembly candidates and key officials. The meeting was called in order to allow candidates to actively participate in refinements and improvements to the ground-breaking contracts which have been introduced for the first time ever this year.
These contracts will be used as standard procedure in all selections at this level in the future to ensure that the rights of the party and those of the candidates are set in stone. This is yet another improvement and a very necessary step as we continue to contest and win more seats at parliamentary level in the future.
As we move into the final days of the nomination period, Regional Organiser Brian Mahoney has urged everyone to stay focussed on the election period and push forward for history-making success on the 5th of May.
While this very important meeting was taking place in South Wales, Derek Dawson, of our British National Party TV team, was working with the North Wales number-one candidate, Cllr John Walker, filming him for our party political broadcast to be shown in the run-up to this May’s elections.
Cllr Walker has also been involved with Radio RWB, developing radio party political broadcasts for the first time ever in Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. These will run concurrently with our TV broadcasts.
“Things are starting to come together, and there is a great buzz in the air at the moment,” said Adam Walker. “Deadlines are being met, and we are moving into a very exciting time. It is a pleasure to work with so many positive people. We are moving forward together to spread the nationwide message of hope to our people.”
