Activity as usual on the streets of Wales this weekend included a successful town centre tabletop stall, meeting the public and leafleting in Merthyr Tydfil, as well as further leafleting teams out in the Blaenau Gwent, Swansea and Bridgend areas, reports Welsh regional organiser Brian Mahoney.
Candidates with their manifesto copiesThe main event of the day, of course, was our Welsh Assembly manifesto launch in Wrexham, North Wales – an event celebrated in South Wales after the day’s work by candidates and activists who gathered at a venue in the Valleys to receive the newly printed hardcopies of our manifesto ‘hot off the press’ and to toast the occasion.

Royal Mail election delivery of British National Party leaflets
We are aware that our leaflets have been delivered to some areas in Wales, but are also very aware of large areas which have not had their British National Party leaflets delivered by Royal Mail yet, despite receiving leaflets from the main parties.
If you haven’t received your leaflet from the postman yet, please let us know (your postcode will suffice) by a short email to: wales@bnp.org.uk It will also help if we know you have actually received your leaflet in the post. This way we can build a picture of the scale of non-delivery. Many thanks for your help with this.
