Residents, supporters and of course members of The British National Party in West Lindsey have been revolted, horrified and disgusted by the brutal and barbaric murder of Drummer Lee Rigby in Woolwich in late May.
Moreover, shock and disbelief was even more evident when the former home of radicalised Muslim Michael Adebolojo was raided by Police with regard to the Muslim Terror Investigation in the sedate village of Saxilby in West Lindsey.
The West Lindsey Group covers a huge swathe of rural Lincolnshire and the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds where last week 2 of our valued members laid flowers to show our respect and to offer our condolences, joining many others who feel strongly that the radicalisation, which apparently began in the county when Michael Adebolojo resided here, should be highlighted as a reminder to us all as to the dangers we face.
In the town of Caistor flowers were placed alongside other display tributes and a team of activists peacefully distributed a selection of Party leaflets in the villages, including 500 EU Referendum colour flyers which produced the most favourable responses in over a year.
West Lindsey Organiser Robert Ashton passed on his thanks to East Midlands Regional Organiser Geof Dickens, who days earlier had delivered by hand from Nuneaton over 1500 EU Referendum leaflets to the Group on a free of charge basis.
Additionally the Group are endeavouring to expand into the vibrant town of Gainsborough in West Lindsey in preparation for the 2014 European Elections and all lapsed members and enquirers are encouraged to re-contact the Party to assist developing the region as strong support is forthcoming for renewed action.
Robert Ashton and activists agree that Party Chairman Nick Griffin is correct to highlight the importance of Street Demonstrations and preparation to mount these effective flash demonstrations is underway in West Lindsey.
The Group are looking to add a further bespoke Union Jack flag incorporating WEST LINDSEY GROUP lettering to compliment the existing pictured British National Party Union Jack item.
If you wish to assist with a donation to the cost of this essential Protest item please forward cheques marked 'Flag Appeal' on the rear to : West Lindsey Group, PO Box 43, Alford, Lincolnshire, LN 13 3AH.
Additionally, if reading this report and if you reside in Lincolnshire please contact the Party at the above address with your concerns, ideas for campaigning and requests for leaflet packs which the Group are happy to provide.
