As the New Year kicks off, so do local Tameside British National Party activists with their newly designed local leaflet printed and ready to hit the streets.
It is important to listen to local voters and take up their concerns with the council, because their problems are also ours.
The Labour Party who run the council will not help local people and Labour Councillors offer little or no service when elected.
The Tameside Branch Organiser has taken the first step and produced a leaflet outlining local issues such as housing.
The leaflet uses bullet points to catch the reader’s attention. It also explains that there is a British National Party team active in the area, and asks the public how we can help with local issues or everyday problems.
Kay Pollitt, Branch Organiser tells this site, “I am currently doing the first print run of this new A5 leaflet, then it’s feet-on-the-street, and time to post them out.
Handing out leaflets is a great way to engage in local politics, and to find out what affects your own neighbourhood.”
