The British National Party’s Veterans Officer and North East Regional Organiser, Pete Molloy, will be the party’s candidate in the upcoming Tudhoe ward by-election in Spennymoor, County Durham, which will take place on Thursday, 10th January, 2013.
The British National Party is well established in the town with local activists regularly doing community work as if they were elected councillors.
Pete Molloy said “The type of work we have done in the community ranges from building a footpath in the local woods to make it easier for members of the public to deal with the police over anti-white racism from take away owners.
“We always inform the public of the good work we have been doing in the community by delivering our local newsletter to them.
“Our National Organiser, Adam Walker, has been doing all the running around on my behalf due to my current work commitments and I thank him for it.
It would be nice to get him some help since this election will be a good indicator for Durham County Council’s Unitary elections next May.”
A meeting prior to the election will take place in Spennymoor Town Hall on Thursday, 3rd January, 2013, and is open to party members and constituents.
“The town council don’t normally allow us to use their venue, but when there is an election on they have no choice.” said Mr Walker.
