By Eddy O'Sullivan - The regular monthly meeting of the British National Party’s Manchester Branch was held on Sunday 18th of March at their usual North Manchester venue.
The event was well attended by the core membership and chaired by Manchester Deputy Organiser Eddy O’Sullivan. Other Party officials in attendance were Gary Tumulty, Salford Organiser, and Phil Coe, Manchester fund holder.
Manchester members were also delighted to welcome Manuel Camzo. Manuel is a published Nationalist author and is an admirer of the way the British National Party goes about its business. He represents the Spanish Nationalists of Plataforma per Catalunya - http://www.pxcatalunya.com/ - the fastest growing nationalist Party in that country.
The focus of the meeting was purely to assess strategy and tactics to be employed in the forthcoming council elections which are to be held on 3rd May 2012. All candidates have now been selected and approved by the membership and target wards identified. They are Derek Adams (Blackley ward), Gareth Black (Moston ward)
The strategies and tactics were agreed and Manchester members were encouraged by the enthusiastic help offered to the candidates by members from other areas of the North West region.
A very efficient and productive meeting was rounded off with a healthy collection being taken by the treasurer followed by a tremendously useful hour or so of socialising and networking within the group.
