By Eastern Region-BNP- Sunday the 26th August saw the flash demonstration at Southend- on-sea in opposition to the illegal Mosque that has been operating from a bungalow in Fairfax Drive, Westcliff-on-Sea causing parking and litter problems.

In addition to this, an extension has been built on the back of the bungalow without planning permission and although 150 residents have complained to the Council, this illegal enterprise is still operating. Approximately 25 activists turned up with the new Eastern Region truth trailer and made a peaceful but noisy protest.

Most of the local residents came out to their front gardens in support of the protest.

Passing traffic and even cyclists gave the thumbs up to the demonstration.

Reporters from the local left wing rag, the Evening Echo took photos and a brief statement from the organiser but did not print the story probably because they don’t care about the wishes of the local people.

At 5pm on Sunday the 9th September saw a demonstration in Heybridge, Essex by around thirty patriots including the chairman of the British National Party and MEP, Nick Griffin.

This demonstration was called by the Maldon Group in order to draw attention to the plight of the green spaces in Heybridge which is being considered by the local Conservative Council to be built on with 900 homes within their local development plan (LDP). These Councillors, who were elected in 2011, did not mention any of the 900 homes in ANY of their election literature.

The demonstration lasted two hours and during this time there was overwhelming support from local residents who drove past tooting their horns and waving.

One white van man even turned round and came back to personally thank the team.

The Maldon Group also gave out leaflets to many local shoppers and pointed out that the Labour and the Liberal Parties have not even bothered to contest any District Council seats for over 10 years making the British National Party the official opposition in Heybridge and therefore it’s up to the BNP to hold the Conservatives accountable.

The 30 Patriots then went to a local venue for a meeting and were also joined by at least another 20 people which made it standing room only at the back.

The purpose of the meeting was to appoint a new Regional Organiser. A brief statement was read out on behalf of Steve Squire, the current and well respected Organiser, who was on holiday and could not attend.

The statement pointed out that two persons applied for the position but one dropped out and then backed the other applicant, Richard Perry, who was duly appointed. Richard, who has only been a member for about 3 years, then made a speech about the trigger point which made him decide to become an activist and more involved in the running of this great party.

Richard’s trigger point was in fact THE Question Time programme where it emerged that Jack Straw’s father was an immigrant coward who had refused to fight for this Country that had sheltered, fed and housed him and that he was quite happy to sit out the war in prison with all the other common criminals.

Richard’s grandfather however signed up to the Army and was sent to North Africa and fought through the whole of the Campaign and was at the battle of El’Alemain and later died in the final push in Tunis where the Germans had retreated to and made their last stand.

After the break, the Chairman, Nick Griffin MEP, spoke with passion on a wide range of subjects including the European Union, illegal wars and their consequence, the banks monopoly, justice for Charlene and tactics for future growth for the Nationalist movement. Nick was given many rounds of applause and a new guest came forward and decided to join the Party.

Finally, a question and answer session ended the successful day off nicely.
