Damp and drizzly weather did nothing to prevent activists from the Cardiff and Caerphilly branches of the British National Party from spreading our message to residents of South Wales on Sunday.
Our Cardiff correspondent reports: Llanharry, a medium-sized village near Pontyclun, was the target for an extensive leafleting drive that saw three activists deliver ReferendumNOW and We Want Our Country Back leaflets. Like many villages in the area, youth unemployment remains high and investment consistently low. The discredited Lib/Lab/Con and false nationalists of Plaid have continually failed to improve things and seem to spend most of their time voting themselves higher and higher salaries in Cardiff Bay. They are out of touch and don't care. It's our job to offer people an alternative.
This week we delivered close to 1,000 leaflets and covered virtually the entire village. To my knowledge this is the first time Llanharry has ever had British National Party literature delivered by Party members and marks our continuing drive to target areas we've never been before.
We used up all of our remaining stock of Nick's leaflet and had an enjoyable afternoon, despite the weather. It was quiet, being a rainy Sunday, but we received a good response and spoke to two residents who received complimentary copies of Voice of Freedom as well.
We've still got enough leaflets left for another day; although it looks like we'll have to get in touch with Alwyn soon for another few thousand!
We're not interested in petty internal Party dissent nor the BBC's upcoming smear attack. We've seen it all before and it won't stop us from continuing to show people the REAL face of the British National Party, a party that remains the only hope for a better Wales and a Greater Britain!
The day ended with a well-earned pint at a local British National Party-friendly pub and renewed commitment from all involved.
