By Jennifer Matthys - Following our successful activist meeting on the 26th January, as promised, a team of activists from Cumbria, including three local British National Party councillors, began leafleting a key Carlisle ward.

The team spent two and a half hours on a cold yet beautiful Cumbrian Thursday delivering our 'Heat or Eat' leaflets, with numerous locals, including a very keen building site team, taking our leaflets and telling us how pleased they were to see us out and about.

This leafleting session was just the first of many, as we gear up in preperation for the May elections. If you would like to assist in Cumbria, please contact Cumbrian Organiser, Paul Stafford, on allerdale@bnp.org.uk
