Scottish British National Party activists took Nick Griffin's EU ReferendumNOW petition to Bathgate, West Lothian, last Friday, where they received an agreeable response from the workers of a huge Tesco distribution warehouse.
‘I have spoken to several workers from the distribution centre who have voiced their concerns at the influx of Eastern European workers being imported purely to take up work at the site,’ said Scotland Regional Organiser David Orr.
‘I spoke to one worker who said he was having a conversation with an Eastern European worker who complained about the strength of the Euro as it was ruining their exchange rate for sending money home!
‘This is only the start of the activism in Scotland. We have several more places where we want to get out and about. If you have a story or concern about your work place or just want to get active, please get in touch!’
Scotland British National Party is holding a meeting tomorrow, Thursday 6th October at 7.30pm in West Lothian. It is open to all members and friends.
