By Councillor Richard Perry-Since being introduced to computers and the internet about 14years ago, I have made it my mission to learn more about them, especially as they can benefit your business, save you money and also help you win back your Country.
This has been a long and difficult task as I am the bloke that can’t even tune in the television or work the VCR let alone those new fangled DVD things.
However, I can assure all those technophobes like me that if you sit in front of the computer long enough, you will master whatever you really want to, so keep at it as any new skills you learn will help you and when applied correctly, will help our party.
The thing I have learnt recently is Windows Moviemaker.
It’s a programme that most people have on their computer but often don’t use! I have noticed the trend for people to watch YouTube videos as an alternative media source and entertainment so with a cheap digital camcorder and SD card you can make, edit and upload videos to YouTube for free.
I am thinking that this will be a useful tool when fighting council elections as the candidate can make his/her own party political broadcast and also produce video updates on the progress of the campaign or just speak about local issues.
These videos will give the electorate a chance to hear you speak and I believe that it will have the effect of breaking down those stereotypes that the mainstream media and our liberal enemies portray us as.
Since uploading my first video clip of me representing the British National Party on Newsnight 10 months ago, I have noticed that my YouTube channel has generated thousands of views and has attracted many comments.
I made my personal Party Political Broadcast for this May’s County Council elections while I was in Mexico on holiday with my camcorder looking round the ancient Mayan Pyramids.
It’s a shame I couldn’t interview the indigenous population while I was there but they have been wiped out by colonisation!
