British National Party activists were out on the streets of west London on Saturday to campaign for an upcoming parliamentary by-election. Sub-regional organiser Dave Furness organised the day of action ahead of the Feltham and Heston by-election, which will take place on 15 December.
The by-election was called after the death of Labour MP Alan Keen.
London regional organiser Steve Squire said: ‘The Labour party have called a quick election with the minimum notice of 20 days, so 15 December it is.
‘Labour are cynically gambling on no one being interested in an election before Christmas in order to try to defend a constituency in which they have recently lost ground.’
He added: ‘Labour’s arrogance was summed up by a Nigerian Labour activist we met who boasted that they would win and that she has two passports.
‘I predict only the finely tuned London British National Party, with its organisational skills and dedicated activist base, will be able to stand up against the Lib/Lab/Con syndicate in time to offer the people of Feltham a real choice.’
