Birmingham British National Party activists held a demo outside a Big Johns Halal take away in Chemsley Wood on Sunday the 10th June.

Birmingham activists had split the cost to get some hard hitting anti Halal signs printed and went along with British National Party Anti Halal leaflets and a video camera.

Police presence was somewhat excessive with 4 vehicles stopping by throughout the hour long demo.

The manager of the shop asked for a leaflet and asked "why?”

Birmingham organiser Paul Hickman said you have no sign informing people that they are buying Halal meat that's why we are here.

The demo was a success and the branch will be holding more over the coming weeks in Birmingham and Solihull.
