East London activists handed out 3,000 anti-riot leaflets during last Saturday’s Day of Action at Romford Market and Harold Hill before finishing the day off in the Eastern region, in Basildon. 

‘The public are very angry and disgusted at what has been happening in London and are backing us all the way,’ said Newham contact Paul Borg.

‘For once, political intimidation and police harassment were at a very low level.’
