Many of the British Veterans’ Group’s (BVG) elderly members received a welfare phone call on Sunday, 3rd February, from the group’s Veterans Officer, Pete Molloy.
The purpose of the welfare phone call was to ensure that those elderly members were managing alright this winter and if they needed any help from the BVG.
Mr Molloy said “Many parts of the country have had some bad weather recently and I wanted to make sure that our elderly members were okay and if they need any help.
Every member I spoke to informed me they appreciated the call and some of them haven’t been too good of late, so I hope they make a speedy recovery soon.”
