Nick Griffin explains why it’s important to press for a full inquiry into the policing of the Orgreave protests during the Miners’ Strike of 1984.
The BNP leader appeals to people who were eye-witnesses to the police brutality and illegal actions to get in touch and give their side of the story.
“The South Yorkshire police were also responsible for the disgusting and deadly handling of the Hillsborough disaster. They need to be called to account, not just to secure justice for past wrongs, but also because that is the only way to ensure that the policing of future protests on other issues is legal and decent."
WERE YOU THERE? If so please contact us to tell us of anything you remember that may help to press for an inquiry into the policing of the strike and the battle of Orgreave.
