On the 1st February 2011, Nick Griffin MEP was given speech time on the issue of Iran and its nuclear programme. Below is the video of this speech, and also what happened when a Conservative MEP, Charles Tannock, gave this speech a 'blue card':
He told the European Parliament sitting in Brussels of the false propaganda that lead to the war in Iraq and the consequent deaths of thousands of Iraqi women and children. Other MEPs were told of the consequences of sanctions upon the civilian population of Iran and how events in the Middle East are none of Europe's business.
After Mr Griffin's speech, Charles Tannock, the Conservative MEP for London, exercised his right to reply by raising a blue card. Obviously disturbed by the use of the phrase Zionist neo-con Mr Tannock felt compelled to respond and allow Mr Griffin to deliver another impassioned anti-war plea.
