The missing poppy!

In our Postbag-I thought you may be interested in the attached leaflet I received from the Royal British Legion. The material was intended to elicit donations to a very good cause, namely their 'Plant a Cross at Lydiard Park' event for those who have fallen in active service.

Great so far!
BUT, take a look at the remembrance options available. Cross with a poppy, Star of David with a poppy, straight stick (atheists?) with a poppy an Islamic crescent WITHOUT a poppy!

Can you believe that the RBL would remove their own poppy for fear of offending Muslims?

I hope you find this a disgrace as much as I do.

The poppy symbol should be a source of pride, not shame and if the Muslims don't like it then surely they can go to hell!

I wrote to the RBL to enquire about this issue, but of course I had no reply.
