Karen Downes, mother of murdered schoolgirl Charlene Downes, speaks with British National Party Leader Nick Griffin ahead of the eighth anniversary of her daughter’s disappearance.
In this half-hour interview, Karen tells the full story of Charlene’s case, from the shocking details of her murder, which she first read about in a newspaper, to the disgraceful miscarriage of justice that saw the accused men, Mohammed Reveshi and Iyad Albattikhi, walk free and receive compensation payouts of £250,000 each despite the overwhelming evidence against them.
The British National Party will be demonstrating in Charlene’s hometown of Blackpool on Tuesday 1 November, the date of her disappearance, to campaign for a re-trial of the defendants and to get Justice for Charlene.
