The Yorkshire Fairies, Danny Cooke and Scott Smith ran 10 miles each with times of 1 hour 58 minutes and 1 hour 33 minutes respectively.
They were running in aid of the Cardiomyopathy Association for Barnsley lad, Rob Cooper who sadly passed away.
Danny said, “During the build up I couldn’t believe how common this condition was.
I found out my cousin's husband had died from the condition and Alwyn Deacon’s-(British National Party National Election officer) brother in law passed away from the same thing.
“I think it just shows it isn’t a medical condition that is widely publicised and I am very proud to have helped out.”
