The collapse in circulation for The Independent is largely due to the fact that Independent Print Ltd has transferred a significant volume of bulk copies from The Independent to its cut-price sister title i, resulting in a 26.8 per cent drop in circulation.
Also, it's interesting how the sales of both The Guardian and The Observer are still falling sharply: this means that with a little effort it's possible to bankrupt those left-wing rags sooner rather than later.
Whereas many Sunday papers are still gaining from the closure of the News of the World, all the dailies are losing readers, and this trend is going to continue as people are sick of paying for newspapers printing lies and propaganda when they can get better information on the internet for free.
