Movimento dei Forconi

Wed, 22/02/2012 - 17:00

By our Italian Correspondent – In January, for several weeks, Italy was hit by an important popular protest; The movement, called "Movimento dei Forconi", was born in Sicily, launched by Sicilian farmers, protesting about massive and unchecked food import from China and other countries, and the necessity to return to the local, valuable, rural land.

As well as the farmers, local lorry drivers also joined the protest, with their own complaints regarding the absurd increase of taxation on fuels that doesn’t allow lorry drivers to do their own work.

Stay of execution for Euro

Tue, 21/02/2012 - 14:30

By Pat Harrington – Debt-stricken Greece won a second bailout last night. European finance ministers awarded 130 billion Euros ($173 billion) in aid, engineered the central-bank profits transfer and pressured private investors into providing more debt relief in an exchange offer meant to tide Greece past a bond redemption on March 20. It is the biggest debt-restructuring in recent times.

Stop anti-English racist attacks - Hyde Demo 25th February

Mon, 20/02/2012 - 12:00

17 year old Dan Stringer and his friend from Hyde, Greater Manchester, were set upon and attacked by a group of Muslims at the start of February.

Another un-named pair of friends, this time ages 21 and just 16, were hit with a bottle and punched in the face just days later by another gang of Muslims, this time in Rochdale, Greater Manchester.

These are the real faces of race-hate crime in Britain today - yet more innocent English victims of a criminal minority within the Muslim population

An inspiration to us all

Sat, 18/02/2012 - 18:00

By Nick Prince – This photograph should be an inspiration to us all. It is of Jackie Robinson, the wife of British National Party Cllr John Robinson (West Sussex Regional Organiser), who despite the freezing weather and disabled by Multiple Sclerosis, felt so passionate about Asylum Seekers getting all of their energy bills paid while our own elderly were left with having to decide if they would eat or heat, she took to the streets of Barnham Village Centre, where her husband is Parish Councillor, to hand out leaflets as part of the “Heat or Eat” campaign for the elderly to tell everyone else in Barnham about it.

For the troops

Tue, 21/02/2012 - 18:00

By Simon Darby - I would imagine the vast majority of Britain's servicemen, having been dealt the news on Monday that some 500,000 people have slipped through our non-existent border controls, will be affected more than most. Having to serve in some of the world's most inhospitable, corrupt and dangerous countries the last thing you would want to hear is that "home" is rapidly going the same way.

Another victory for British National Party activists in Barking & Dagenham

Tue, 21/02/2012 - 06:00

By Giuseppe De Santis – For years the British National Party have been the only political party in the UK to raise awareness of the problem of former soldiers sleeping rough on the streets, an issue that has been shamefully ignored by the mainstream media.

It seems our activism is yielding some results.

Removed fathers may still not get to see their kids

Mon, 20/02/2012 - 06:00

By Pete Molloy – A former high profile father’s rights activist with Fathers 4 Justice and architect of the British National Party’s White Paper on family policy.

The experience I have in English family law is spending 7 years going through the family courts for the right to have my children have their loving father in their lives and ended up with being awarded with “indirect” contact by way of letters, 2 years as a father’s rights activist with Fathers 4 Justice and studying law at Liverpool John Moores University.

Cameron's Compassionless Coalition

Sun, 19/02/2012 - 06:00

A new 'bedroom tax' introduced under the Government’s Welfare Reform Bill will force some of the poorest social housing tenants to give up their homes.

Council and housing association homes which are identified as having a “spare” bedroom have been described by Conservative and Lib-Dem politicians as an “extravagance” to which poorer families are not entitled.

By Alwyn Deacon, West Midlands Regional Organiser - Sunday 12th February saw activists from Shropshire British National Party Branch out leafleting in Craven Arms.

Craven Arms is a beautiful part of Shropshire but has become known recently for its Halal meat factory and extended mosque - both of which point to the rapid Islamification of one of Shropshire's previously most English of towns.
