The battle for the heart and soul of the street protest movement; Two short videos say it all

"Can a man serve two masters?" Our first video showsTommy Robinson of the Zionist EDL floored by this and other awkward questions from an independent U.S. web news team about his ultra-Zionist sympathies and finances.

This was filmed while 'Tommy', real name Stephen Lennon, was present at the SION conference in New York.

SION is organised by Pam Geller, one of the main cheer-leaders for continued US/UK involvement in the no-win disaster in Afghanistan, for Western intervention in favour of radical Islamists in Syria and for war against Iran.

Since his return from New York, Robinson's main efforts have been to push the last bits of the street protest movement still under his increasingly shaky control to take part in a thoroughly counter-productive, dangerous and provocative protest in Walthamstow, East Londonistan.

He has repeatedly said that he and his BFP group will show the film trailer for 'Innocence of Muslims/Mohammad - the movie' on a big screen in the centre of Walthamstow at a second EDL/BFP demonstration there.

Ostensibly, his motive is simply the hope that the promise of confrontation will bring back some of the many sincere patriots and anti-Islamists who have left the EDL over the last year, disgusted by its rabidly pro-Zionist stance and lack of financial probity.

"He needs bodies on the street to save his *rse and to keep the money flowing in," is how one former EDL official put it yesterday.

Other analysts, however, believe that Tommy is only doing what he has been told by his New York puppet masters, who want to use misled working class English lads to spark a full-scale 'clash of civilisations' riot and conflict in London and beyond, in order to inflame popular hatred of Muslims so as to make it easier to herd the British public towards war.

"It's all too obvious," says BNP Press Spokesman Simon Darby, "that trying to show that film in London would increase the risk to British soldiers in Afghanistan, including of course Prince Harry.

And if the Taliban managed to kill or injure him, public opposition to war could easily be turned around overnight. That would help make the global corporations who fund the key individuals in the SION network a vast amount of money.

No proper British nationalist should allow himself to be used in such as way."

The Robinson video is followed by a very different offering from our own Nick Griffin.

Filmed last week in the European Parliament, Mr Griffin sets out in 12 concise points exactly why "Tommy's" plan to show the Mohammad film in Walthamstow is so ill-conceived, dangerous and counter-productive.

"We are now entering the final stages of a battle for the soul of the white working class protest movement in Britain," Mr. Griffin told BNPNews.

"For a while it looked as if the cynical drive to turn it into a catspaw of powerful vested interests in New York would carry the day. But it is increasingly clear that commonsense and true patriotism are winning the war.

"The Zionist EDL is falling apart, while more and more of its former officials and supporters are moving into a loose alliance of genuine nationalists who are willing to work together - and with us - in a genuinely grass-roots resistance movement against Islamism and Establishment appeasement.

"Tommy has staked the tattered remnants of his leadership on 'Walthamstow 2'.

In my opinion, his position isn't worth getting people killed, which is what could all too easily happen there.

It's not even worth the kettling and mass arrests that are virtually inevitable as the police struggle to avoid major public disorder.

"If Tommy has a shred of commonsense and decency left, he will listen to my 12 reasons, see sense and back out while he still has time.

A demonstration against the police failure to protect innocent young girls in Rotherham would be worth risking mass arrests for, he should lead his remaining followers there instead and - for all our organisational differences - we would urge everyone to support such an effort."
