Following our report here, regarding the conviction and imprisonment of two Muslim brothers from Telford in Shropshire being convicted of sex offences against young girls, another trial based around Telford continues, this time centered around a 22 year old delivery driver who took another young child to a restaurant where she was allegedly sold for sex.
The jury at Wolverhampton Crown Court has been told that Noshad Hussain took the 16 year old to the restaurant in Telford, where she was then paid to have sex with three workers. The court has also heard he that he denies four charges relating to sexual activity with a 14 year old girl.
Mr Mark Weekes, prosecuting, said the 16 year old girl had been trafficked as a child prostitute and was being sold for sex during 2008 and 2009.
"It was an almost unimaginable world of dingy, seedy sexual encounters in, amongst other places, the upstairs of restaurants in the Telford area," he said.
The prosecution allege that Hussain knew the purpose of driving the girl to the restaurant and that he was knowingly facilitating her actions as a child prostitute.
The jury was told that the other alleged victim in the trial was 14 years old when Hussain "forcefully cajoled" her into performing a sex act on him while she had been in his car, and was given drink for this.
