Immigration Outrage – A Message from Nick Griffin

More than 181,000 immigrants known to the system who were told to leave the UK are still living here. That’s the latest “shock” news that re-iterates once again what the British National Party has been saying for years – our UK Border Agency does not do the job it was designed for.

Immigration officials do not even know where the majority of the failed applicants are, according to the National Audit Office. They are all immigrants whose visas have either run out or have been turned down for one since the flawed and pointless points-based system was introduced in December 2008.

It was also found that less than one in four skilled immigrant workers were filling the high-priority shortage occupations that they were supposed to be coming for.

Margaret Hodge – who spouted intentional and known lies about British National Party members and supporters during the last round of elections, has even said that “gaps in data, poor risk management and inefficient processes mean that we cannot be certain that it either ensures proper controls or meets the UK’s need for skilled labour”. I bet it hurt her to admit this, as in doing so she is admitting that we are in the right – again.

System detrimental to British Workers

The National Audit Office report also found that the UK Border Agency "has not evaluated the risks associated with some inherent features of the system which could be exploited by employers and migrants", to the detriment of British workers. It adds that the agency "cannot provide assurance that it is managing the risk of non-compliance by migrants and sponsors with immigration rules effectively".

Immigration Minister Damian Green appears to have discovered a fundamental clue as to what may have gone wrong here. He said, “We are committed to re-introducing exit checks by 2015. Counting people in and out of the country will give us better control over those that overstay.”

It is no wonder that there is no control over immigration in the UK if even Government officials admit that they are currently not checking who is entering or leaving the country!

British Jobs for British Workers

With the news this week that unemployment in the UK had reached 2.53 million in January, and the admission that less than one in four so-called skilled immigrants have been filling the occupations it was claimed they would be here for – it is time to re-iterate our message – British Jobs For British Workers.

With the Local Assembly elections less than two months away, now is the time to ensure that our voice becomes known as the voice of the British people – after all, we are saying what four-fifths of the British people agree with. In donating today, you will help our Local Assembly election fund. What you do now could be the difference between our winning and not winning a seat in Wales in May.

I know I have relied heavily on you in the past, but I am asking you once again to put your hand in your pocket to give us our best possible chance of winning since I became an MEP in 2009. We are the voice of the British people. It is time to let them hear us roar. Are you with me?

Yours for the future of our Nation,

Nick Griffin
Member of the European Parliament

P.S.  Your actions in the coming weeks will determine the Local Assembly election outcome. I know I can count on your most generous support on the eve of yet another great breakthrough. Together we will fight, and together we will win.
