“Budget shortfalls” are the reason for the ConDem regime’s recent announcement that hospital car parking charges in England are to remain in force — except, of course, for “asylum seekers” who automatically get free parking and money to get to and from the hospital.
The shocking anti-British discrimination was revealed after a British National Party supporter in Plymouth did some forward planning in order to take his wife to Derreford Hospital.
“I went onto their website to see about car parking charges,” the BNP supporter said.
“From the information there, it is clear that asylum seekers can claim for any travel expenses incurred when visiting the hospital, including any hospital car parking fees paid.
“This means that a British person, who through their taxes has paid for this hospital, will not only have to meet their own travel expenses but also have to pay the hospital’s car parking fees whereas a so-called asylum seeker, Mr Mungungo, who arrived from Africa yesterday, will not have to pay a penny. It is mad,” the supporter told BNP News.
The Plymouth NHS website outlined the policy in detail:
“Travel Expenses
If you are on benefits and need help with travelling expenses to and from the hospital, please contact the Cashier on level 7, Derriford Hospital. You must show proof of benefits at each visit to re-claim fares.
Income Support.
Job Seekers Allowance — income based only.
NHS Tax Credit exemption card.
Low Income Certificate HC2 or HC3.
Pension Credit guaranteed credit.
Asylum Seekers Home Office card.
War pensions (claim direct from War Office).
The Department of Social Security sets the rules on who can claim.”
Earlier, ConDem Health Minister Simon Burns announced that a plan to scrap hospital parking fees in England (they are already abolished in Wales and Scotland) would not proceed as planned.
Currently, the fees raise around £110 million per year in revenue, with some hospitals charging way over the average cost of £1.50 per hour.
The swindle is made even more astonishing when it is considered that there are not any legal asylum seekers in Britain.
Asylum seekers have the right of refuge in the first safe country bordering the one they flee, and do not have the right to cross twenty safe countries to reach soft touch Britain.
When “asylum seekers” leave the first safe country they have entered and carry on travelling to Britain, they are no longer asylum seekers but illegal immigrants.
The hospital travel and parking fee swindle is a small part of the total benefit claimed by these parasites. There are different categories of asylum seekers, who, according to official government websites, qualify for the following benefits: Income Support; Income-based Job Seekers Allowance; Housing Benefit; Council Tax Benefit; Social Fund; Disability Living Allowance; Attendance Allowance; Invalid Care Allowance; Severe Disablement Allowance; Non-contributory incapacity benefit; Working Families' Tax Credit; Disabled Person's Tax Credit; and Child Benefit.
In 2009, Natacha Bouchart, the mayor of the French town of Calais, blamed “Britain's enormous state handouts to asylum seekers” as the primary reason why her town was being swamped by illegal immigrants.
Ms Bouchart said these payouts “were the lure for thousands of foreigners” to use the French port as a staging point to cross the Channel illegally.
“The British system is to blame for thousands of Africans, Eastern Europeans and Asians trying to clamber aboard lorries and trains in Calais every day,” she said.
“Requesting asylum is easier with them (the British) than in France. The asylum seeker is given accommodation and receives up to £40 a week according to their case, when the annual income of the average Eritrean is around £135.”
Only the British National Party will bring an end to this disgraceful situation where bogus, swindling asylum seekers are put before decent, honest and hard-working British people.
