Cumbria Councillor Elected

We are pleased to report more good news from Cumbria, where another British National Party councillor has been elected, this time in the Eden District in east Cumbria.

Ian Holt (left) has been elected to Yanwath and Eamont Bridge Parish Council, receiving enough votes to take his seat alongside four other successful candidates.

“Thanks to all the team at HQ for their sensational efforts. Let’s hope that the Scottish Local and London Assembly elections can turn up a few surprises,” said Mr Holt.

“The next five years are all going to end in tears for the Lib Dems, and, with a lot of hard work, we can fill the void.

“We know the Lib Dem vote has collapsed. Can it recover in time? I think not. The NHS privatisation bill is going to be the breaker. Let’s get amongst it and fan the flames.”
