Britain faces an unprecedented terrorist threat from Islamist extremists allowed to settle here by successive Tory and Labour Party regimes – and now the Government wants to use that threat as an excuse to spy on everyone’s emails and internet use.

The plan to monitor all electronic communications in Britain, which will see every single email, phone call and website visit logged and recorded, is due to be implemented later this year.

The plan is so shocking and intrusive that not even the previous Labour government dared push ahead with the scheme and shelved it in December last year.

However, the new ConDem regime appears to have no such qualms, and in the interests of “anti-terrorism” will reintroduce the plan later this year, according to reports.

In terms of the scheme, all internet service providers will be obligated by law to store all user details for a period of up to two years.

This will allow security services to trawl through all internet usage and will allow anonymous spies access to all personal emails, web activity and communications.

The announcement also flies in the face of the Coalition Agreement, published shortly after the Government came into power. In the official document released after the coalition was agreed, it was specifically stated that the new government would “end the storage of internet and email records without good reason.”

The “good reason” is the legal loophole which the ConDem regime has now exploited. In the official justification for the new snooping plan, the Strategic Defence and Security Review said that “communications data provides evidence in court to secure convictions of those engaged in activities that cause serious harm. It has played a role in every major Security Service counter­terrorism operation and in 95 per cent of all serious organised crime investigations.”

In other words, the threat of terrorism is the major excuse for the further destruction of our civil liberties.

Official figures released last year showed that 92 percent of all terrorists currently in British jails are Muslim. It is therefore obvious that Islamism is the major security threat which our nation faces.

Now, this raises the question: why is Britain under increased threat from Islamist terrorism?

The answer is obvious: successive Tory and Labour regimes have followed an open doors immigration policy which has allowed millions of Third World migrants to settle in Britain.

This has included millions of people from strongly Muslim countries such as Pakistan and various Middle Eastern nations.

At the same time, the same Tory and Labour regimes have implemented a foreign policy which is aggressively designed to incite the entire Muslim world against Britain.

In particular, the illegal and unjustifiable invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan stand out as important examples of this policy, but equally important is the blatant bias shown in the official approach to the Israeli-Palestinian question.

As a result, the Tory and Labour governments have handed a whole batch of the most perfect recruiting excuses to the Islamists who now have a foothold inside Britain.

In other words, the primary cause of terrorism in Britain is the Labour and Conservative parties. It is they who have let the millions of Third Worlders in, and it is they who have now provided the excuse the Islamists need to stir up and recruit radicals from this millions-strong pool of potential recruits within our borders.

And now, to add insult to injury, everyone will be spied upon to try and combat this “threat.”

The British National Party rejects this latest big brother intrusion into the British people’s personal lives.

Combating terrorism in Britain is far better served by simply removing the source of the problem, rather than trying to monitor and ever increasing immigrant population.
