The British National Party in Welling, Kent, took to the streets with the “Bring Our Boys Home” campaign last Saturday, reports organiser Mike Jones.
“We received a huge amount of signatures from the public and handed out hundreds of leaflets,” Mr Jones said.
“This was another successful day as we collected around 100 signatures, handed out hundreds of leaflets and yet again recruited several new members.
“We have put in an order for more leaflets from the dispatch department as we're now running low with two weeks still to go,” he said.
“Even a local Tory councillor was sent along to see how we were getting on, and expressed his support for our message.
“We would like to thank the local team that has been out on the streets during this campaign so far.
We will be back out this coming weekend in two different locations,” Mr Jones said.
