Alex Salmond dodges questions from Trade Unionists

Wed, 16/04/2014 - 16:00

Salmond is a good speaker but not so deft at answering questions. Yesterday he was in Dundee at a meeting of the Scottish Trades Union.

He got a mixed response. Some of what he said was welcomed. When asked whether his government would back continued public ownership of the London-to-Edinburgh East Coast Main Line and whether he could rule out compulsory redundancies in the civil service following a vote for independence his answer was a popular “Yes.”

By Richard Cley - London Correspondent-As a person who does not eat meat I find the whole question of halal slaughter very peculiar. At various times I have also looked after pigs, which is an animal I like very much.

Neo-con puppets terrorise Ukraine.

Tue, 15/04/2014 - 19:00

By Harry Sheldon - European Correspondent-As usual the Western media, along with their neo-con masters, refuse to report the true story in Ukraine.

While the sham Ukrainian government openly intimidate the Russian speaking population of Little Russia, as the nation is referred to, the corrupt EU establishment does nothing.

Government Approved Greed

Wed, 16/04/2014 - 13:00

By Emma Cadbury-Greed, as we know, is wonderful according to the Conservative / Liberal Democrat coalition who promote it at every turn.

And the minimum wage must also be suppressed at all costs, to ensure that workers must struggle to survive on incomes that put them below the poverty line, forcing them to seek help from food banks just to keep the wolf from the door.

BBC Rent Boy Nigel Farage in new expenses row

Wed, 16/04/2014 - 05:00

The ferociously anti-British BBC continues its shameless promotion of Nigel Farage.

The ultra-left BBC - dubbed the Brussels Broadcasting Company for its relentlessly pro-EU propaganda, even gave its purple puppet a top slot on the popular comedy programme Have I Got News for You last Friday, despite the fact that its own rules forbid such favouritism this close to an election.

Islamist plot to take-over of British schools under investigation

Tue, 15/04/2014 - 18:15

An inquiry has been launched into a suspected attempt by Islamists to take-over of some 25 schools in and around Birmingham.

The 25 schools under the investigation include primaries, secondaries and academies, most of which have overwhelming Muslim student populations, but contend for a handful of beleaguered and hopelessly out numbered indigenous British children.
