Attack on Libya – Nick Griffin Slams "Puppet" Cameron

As the Coalition launches its attack on Libya, Nick Griffin MEP says, “It’s not about protecting ‘rebels’ – this is a War for Oil and neo-con colonialism.”

“It’s madness, utter madness. The Coalition attack on Libya is the beginning of a new and ugly era – the Era of Energy Colonialism and Oil Wars. Cameron and Clegg have conspired with other US/New World Order puppets like Sarkozy to launch an unprovoked and illegal war on a sovereign state.

“With all the other parties queuing up to applaud the warmongers, only the British National Party is making a stand for Peace and the principle of national self-determination. It’s up to the Libyans to sort out their own problems and quarrels. No British government has either the right or a duty to shed a drop of British blood in a conflict that has nothing to do with Britain.”

This is the official position of the British National Party, articulated by Nick Griffin MEP, as Coalition jets started their first bombing runs against Libya. Promising to continue to argue for peace and sovereignty in the European Parliament’s emergency debate on the subject this coming week, Mr Griffin continued:

“The stench of hypocrisy is stomach-churning. Western politicians, including Blair and the EU’s Herman Van Rompuy, were pictured literally hugging Gaddafi not so long ago. Now they plan to put him on trial and execute him like Saddam Hussein.

“The Coalition ‘outrage’ over Gaddafi’s troops’ success in defeating armed rebels is both selective and artificial: selective because they will take no action against the far more brutal and dictatorial House of Saud over its continuing massacres of unarmed democracy demonstrators in Bahrain; artificial because the ‘rebels’ have been financed, trained and mobilised with money from the CIA and New World Order puppet masters such as George Soros.

“The illegal assault on (and in due course colonial occupation of) Libya has nothing to do with ‘human rights’ and everything to do with a clear campaign of neo-con ‘regime change’ throughout the Middle East. Most dangerous of all, the change is not the removal of corrupt and dangerous Wahhabi Islamist regimes such as Saudi Arabia and their replacement with pro-Western secular rulers.

“While still unprincipled, that would at least make sense. But no, as they did in Iraq, the neo-cons who work puppets like Obama and Cameron are going to remove a secular socialist dictator who is no threat to anyone outside his own country, knowing full well that the vacuum created by his elimination will be filled with tribal anarchy and Islamist terrorism.

“Presumably, the Powers That Be actually want this, in order to have the excuse to go in and seize the Arab world’s remaining oil supplies by force, and to remove any potential State threat to Israel in the process.

“This War is not in the interests of the people of Britain. It is not in the interest of genuine political reformers in the Middle East. It is not in the interest of ordinary Israelis, for it will inflame the anti-Semitism of the ‘Arab street’ every bit as much as it will turn more young Muslims into anti-Western terrorists.

“The only good thing one can say about it is that this War will not turn out to be in the interest of the political elite either. The vast majority of the British people are already instinctively against their madcap foreign adventures. In the months ahead, that feeling will grow ever stronger. The appeal of the British National Party’s stand for Peace – shown clearly by the huge public sympathy for our campaign to bring our soldiers home from Afghanistan – will be magnified many times over.

“We are going to position ourselves as the Peace Party, and millions who would rather see their taxes spent on tackling unemployment, saving essential services, helping pensioners and housing war veterans and their families, will realise that we are right.”

Editor’s note: with the controlled media acting yet again as cheerleaders for war, more and more open-minded people are coming to value the generally unbiased and impartial TV news coverage of the satellite channel RT (Russia Today). In the last 24 hours alone, RT has shown its commitment to truth and balance with its revelation that the anti-Gaddafi ‘rebels’ have in fact been backed and organised by the USA for years, and by pointing out that the ‘West’ is cherry-picking in attacking Libya but doing nothing about the brutal repression of dissent in Bahrain. See for yourself on satellite TV or on www.rt.com.
