The string of anti-BNP lies being disseminated by the traitor former webmaster Simon Bennett and his “internal dissenters” are obviously coordinated by Searchlight as the latest article in today’s Mirror newspaper have confirmed.
Bennett is quoted by that extremist leftist fishwrap as saying that BNP leader Nick Griffin intends to “install” his 24-year old daughter, Jennifer Griffin, as leader of the party.
“He knows his days are numbered and installing his daughter is the perfect Plan B,” the traitor Bennett is quoted in the Mirror.
“She would be the nominal leader but he would be the real power behind the throne,” Bennett continued in the Mirror article.
“This article is proof positive, if any was needed, that the so-called internal dissent is being coordinated by Searchlight, who have a formal alliance with the Mirror newspaper to campaign against the BNP,” Mr Griffin said in his response.
“At the last Advisory Council meeting, where I announced that I would be stepping down as leader of the party to concentrate on building a nationalist alliance in Europe, I specifically stated that my daughter Jennifer would not be succeeding me,” Mr Griffin said.
“Jennifer is a very efficient and naturally highly trusted key member of our administrative team but that does not mean that she is party leadership material.
“There is, therefore, no truth whatsoever to the liar Bennett’s claims in the Mirror.
“It is clearly an attempt to stir up trouble after he stabbed every single party member in the back by sabotaging the BNP website at a crucial moment in the last election.
“It is highly significant that Bennett is now quoted in the Mirror spouting these lies, as it shows the coordinated nature of the current campaign against the BNP,” Mr Griffin continued.
He pointed out that the Mirror article also regurgitated other Searchlight lies copied by Bennett and other ‘dissenters’ such as the totally false allegation that the Adlorries company controlled BNP finances.
“That allegation is laughably untrue, and shows the desperation of the lies being put out by Bennett, Searchlight and the ‘dissenters',” Mr Griffin continued.
“The open links between Bennett and the current wave of ‘dissenters’ who all quote the lies generated by Searchlight in their whispering campaign against me personally, and the party in general, reveal exactly who is behind their campaign.”
Mr Griffin reiterated what he said at the last Advisory Council meeting regarding a new leader for the BNP.
“Apart from the fact that I am on record as saying it will not be my daughter, I said that I believe that a new leader will have to be someone who is already in their thirties, and that the decision on who that person is will lie completely with the membership,” he said.
“This latest story is obviously just another attempt to sow discord in the BNP and it will fail, like all the other pathetic attempts so far.”
