The European Union executive has thrown the last pretence of democracy out of the window by unilaterally declaring that it can set up a “fast track” procedure to change the Lisbon Treaty “without negations.”

The individual nation states of Europe and the European Union, on behalf of the continent, are committing "identity and economic suicide," British National Party MEP Andrew Brons has told the European Parliament.
