Residents in South Shore, Blackpool, have been celebrating a ‘victory for democracy’ after plans for a controversial mosque were refused, following widespread local opposition.

Consider local opinion as a planning criterion

The British National Party would like to ask its supporters to sign a petition on the Government’s new e-petitions website that requests councils consider strong public sentiment as a reason for rejecting a planning application.
