Today marks the tenth anniversary of the September 11 attacks in the United States, when 19 al-Qaeda Muslim terrorists hijacked four passenger jets, crashing two of them into the Twin Towers, one into the Pentagon and one into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, killing almost 3,000 people.
