The World at 8 – Hundreds arrested at yearly Notting Hill crimefest

Tonight on the World at 8 with Lynne Mozar – 245 arrests and one stabbing at the annual immigrant ‘carnival’ in Notting Hill. Despite huge preventative police measures, arrests were made for drug possession, public order offences, criminal damage, robbery and assault.

World at 8: 21% increase in immigration as unemployment rises by 38,000

Tonight on the World at 8 with Lynne Mozar – News that immigration into Britain went up by over 20 percent last year comes at the same time as unemployment in Britain rises by 38,000.

Hague: war on Libya going well!

By Pat Harrington – If you listen to Foreign Secretary William Hague, the war in Libya is going very well. In fact, by bombing Libya, Nato is saving the lives of Libyan citizens. It seems that Hague is not only a warmonger but also delusional.
