In the latest hammer blow to the BBC's phoney “anti-EU” safety valve UK Independence Party, David Campbell-Bannerman, UKIP's MEP for Eastern England, resigned yesterday to defect to the Conservative Party. He will now sit as a member of David Cameron's European Conservatives and Reformists Group in the European Parliament. 

The gross hypocrisy of UKIP’s cowardly leadership is well-known. They run a party that hints at action and imply a strong stance on politically sensitive issues, but when judged by the deeds of the party leadership and the small print of their proposals, it is clear that this is a party led by politically correct charlatans.

The British National Party’s National Media Spokesman, Simon Darby, has promised to have a party representative back on Question Time within the next six months.

As Question Time is broadcast again tonight there will, as usual, be no British National Party representative on the panel.

Although broadcasting from Burnley, Nick Griffin MEP’s North West constituency, rather than selecting any elected North West politicians, the BBC have instead invited Championship footballer Clarke Carlisle onto the discussion show, alongside other unelected political figures and non-local MPs.
