Hundreds of thousands of workers are being denied their right to be paid the National Minimum Wage (NMW), according to research by Kings College London. The figures estimate that between 150,000 and 200,000 social care workers across the UK are being paid less than the legal minimum.
The ConDem Government has recently announced that they will be increasing the National Minimum Wage later this year. However, before anyone puts the flags out, it’s only going up by a few pence.
