The news that political parties could earn funding based on the number of votes they receive is just another attempt to shut out smaller parties and make the rich parties richer, as British National Party Media Spokesman Simon Darby points out in his latest blog post. 

That's how Nick Griffin has slammed the latest set of 'Christmas' card designs produced by the European Parliament. Writing to the five Questeurs – the group of MEPs responsible for such decisions – Mr. Griffin drew attention to the absurdity and injustice of completely overlooking the Christian heritage of all the nations of Europe by issuing a set of six cards without a single one having any traditional Christian significance, let alone message. 

Seven out of ten people in Britain support the British National Party’s campaign to hold a referendum on the United Kingdom’s membership of the European Union, the latest public opinion poll on the issue has found. The result shows yet again that the majority of the British public are behind key British National Party policy, following recent similar endorsements of ending immigration and the restoration of capital punishment.
