Afghanistan: A decade of futile war

A decade of war in Afghanistan has been marked with protests on the streets of London and elsewhere. During that time 382 of our service personnel have lost their lives. Some 262 have suffered injuries classified as “very serious”, and a further 272 have been “seriously injured”.

David Cameron’s Office Says that Troops Will Not Withdraw from Afghanistan by 2012

A spokesman for 10 Downing Street has admitted that David Cameron’s undertaking to withdraw all British troops from Afghanistan is untrue and that they will stay there “for as long as is necessary.”

Afghanistan War Death Toll Climbs Again as ConDem Regime Announces 40% Increase in Foreign Aid

The horrific death toll of British troops in the unwinnable and probably illegal war in Afghanistan rose to 322 today as the ConDem government  announced that even more of your tax money will now be spent in that country.
