Nick Griffin has applauded the acquittal of Geert Wilders on charges of inciting hatred and discrimination against Muslims as ‘a victory for free speech and a blow against the Islamic invasion of the Netherlands’. 

British National Party leader and MEP Nick Griffin announced this morning in the European Parliament that he wished to nominate brave Dutch MEP Geert Wilders for the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought.

The confession by comedian Rory Bremner that he and his colleagues are “afraid to joke about Islam” for fear of being killed has revealed precisely how far the stifling dark shadow of Islam has already fallen over Britain and Europe.

The politics of common sense, decency and rationality have been the biggest winners in the Netherlands’s general election as Geert Wilders’ Freedom Party polled 1.5 million votes and took 24 seats in the Dutch parliament.
