Women and Climate Change! It sounds like the start of a stand-up comedy routine but, unfortunately, a lot of MEPs are serious about wasting even more of your hard-earned money on such nonsense.

A Report claiming that women are far more vulnerable than men to climate change was voted on in the European Parliament today.  Unfortunately, owing to the ignorance and/or cowardice of the conservative/Christian democrat blocks that dominate parliament, the left-liberals pushed the lunacy throw by a big majority.

"It is one thing to lose a job because of a recession or a downturn in the market, but to lose a job because of the new European Union rules on carbon trading is obscene." That is the verdict of one of Nick Griffin's Lancashire constituents after Hanson Cement announced it was axing 30 jobs in Clitheroe.
