‘Local jobs for local people’ petition handed in to Labour MP’s office

A petition calling for local jobs to go to local people in Spennymoor, County Durham, has been handed in to the area’s MP office by a British National Party official. Pete Molloy, the Party’s prospective candidate for the Tudhoe ward in Spennymoor, submitted the petition to the Bishop Auckland constituency office of Labour MP Helen Goodman after collecting almost 600 signatures.
