It has just been announced (09:45) that the House of Commons has lost its High Court battle over the Information Tribunal’s decision to force disclosure of MPs’ expenses.
As has been previously reported the Commons challenged the Tribunal’s “unlawfully intrusive” demand that a detailed breakdown of MPs second home allowances must be provided.
