Think Tories Will be Better than Labour? See How They ‘Run’ London!

Tory Boris Johnson’s administration in London has suffered a severe blow with the abrupt resignation of Tim Parker, the most senior member of his team, only weeks after taking up his post.

In the latest staffing controversy to engulf the Mayor of London, Parker resigned as first deputy mayor and chief of staff.

His departure is particularly embarrassing for Johnson because it follows two other high-profile resignations during the first 100 days of his mayoralty, raising questions about his judgment, experience and the quality of his administration.

Parker, who was hired to streamline the Greater London Authority and to run Transport for London (TfL) from next month, resigned after it was decided that Johnson would retain the transport chairmanship.

His resignation shocked onlookers because his appointment had been considered a coup for Johnson’s administration. The mayor had highlighted Parker’s ability to make companies more efficient.

The resignation will increase the pressure on Johnson, who has faced significant criticism early in his leadership over his hiring procedures. Ray Lewis, the deputy for youth at the centre of Johnson’s bid to fight knife crime, resigned after he was forced to deny allegations of inappropriate conduct and financial irregularities in his past.

James McGrath, the mayor’s senior political strategist, quit over a race row.

The resignation highlighted the mayor’s inexperience and lack of awareness of the political nature of the TfL role.

The series of departures at City Hall is being watched with growing nervousness by senior Conservatives as Johnson’s administration has been viewed as a test for national policy.

Righteous anger & political action:

The British National Party believes in telling the truth, even if it is sometimes uncomfortable to hear or offensive to those who would rather bury their heads in the sand than face real problems in our society. But while we often pass quite critical comment on the impact of immigration, multi-culturalism and alien religions on the indigenous people of our lands, we have no animosity towards immigrants, their descendants or the followers of non-native religions. Nor do we intend to encourage others to feel such animosity, or believe that anything we have to say is likely to 'stir up hatred' against anyone.

In fact, we believe that by providing a peaceful and Constitutional outlet for the anger and the frustration felt by millions of our people over the undemocratic transformation of our country by our political masters, the BNP actually defuses tensions. Where there is 'hate' we seek to turn it into righteous anger and political action against the only people who deserve to be hated - the politicians who use our taxes to turn our country into a place where we often feel like strangers in our own land.

Any normal person could have told you Boris was incapable before he was elected. Really is it that surprising he’s failing, worse will come if call me Dave is elected to central government as he’s so experienced in political affairs. All the Tories are like this right down to grass roots local level. Anyway I was under the impression that Boris never wanted this job anyway and the position was forced upon him, maybe it’s time for that resignation.

Any chance Boris johnson will appoint Richard Barnbrook as deputy mayor?

    …….
Well he’s waiting for the call - read his blog here: http://tinyurl.com/63gec3 -Ed

As a Londoner who left our formerly beautiful capital some years ago it was with a degree of incredulity that I watched the metropolitan electorate appoint the arch-oaf Boris Johnson to the position of mayor.

Clearly the minds of many have become intellectually impoverished and the exercise of democracy has become a contest akin to voting in a television talent show or in relation to the Big Brother house. Boris is an amusing celebrity (we’re laughing at you not with you Mr J) but he would appear to me to possess very few of the essential qualities for a role of this sort. His election is as lamentable as it is extraordinary.

I fear that we are kidding ourselves if we expect anything more than an abject shambles from Mr Johnson. His best hope was to surround himself with a team of individuals more capable and disciplined than he. Now it looks as though this isn’t going to happen either.

    ………
Boris got the job because he is a ‘Common Purpose’ graduate - as with any position of authority these days, it was a requirement for the job. -Ed

Just seen the photo - when did Doris and Cam-moron come out of the closet, and where was the civil ceremony held?

  6. whiskydelta on August 20th, 2008 4:17 pm

Personally I’d like to see the lot of them have a go at being Boris’s deputy, then Boris will get rid of the lot inside the next few month!

CAMERON is obviously Common Purpose, and apart from that, is totally unfit to run this Country of OURS because he refuses to clear up claims that he used CANNABIS in his younger days, and if he did it may result in MENTAL problems at any time after. Is it worth the RISK ?

I was listen to R Barnbrook’s presentation at the RWB. He was explaining how he puts questions to Boris. It was hilarious, Boris trying to evade then stumbling an answer. This is the Mayor of London held to ridicule not by Richard so much as by his total lack of intelligence in the face of a reasonably simply question. His boss Ca-moron( I picked this up from another comment very apt) is really no better. I cannot see these two buffoons holding the Tory ship safe in deep water up until the next election without it hitting the rocks. We live in interesting times.

I see the ED states that Boris is a common purpose Graduate. Well, all I can add is that it must have a very low graduate pass mark. Perhaps joined up writing or maybe less.

Richard has already saved Londoners £5,000 a month. Just think how rich the Londoners would become if he got the job as deputy mayor, or even Mayor. Wake up London, it proves how much better off you would be. Vote BNP and get some sleep at night, instead of worrying about the next bill coming through the letterbox.

What is Boris going to do when the the British team come back with their stash of gold medals from the Olympics? He cannot parade them through the streets of London as the heroes that they are because most of them are white! And that would not do would it? Oh no.

Maybe the Government could do some positive discrimination and only allow Asian and Blacks into our 2012 Olympic squad so as not to upset the apple cart.

  11. SimonGB on August 20th, 2008 5:25 pm

Mr Barnbrook’s day of glory is not that far away…the lion shall roar again over the city, & one by one, the cock ups shall be put right…its only a matter of time now, Johnson’s admin is falling apart, as he is falling apart!

They resigned because the whole outfit is riven with political correctness, making it unmanageable. A legacy of Red Ken livingstone.

  13. French Mike on August 20th, 2008 7:30 pm

SimonGB - I hope you are right but if you think that would be Tory voters will come our way, remember there are still many enrichers out there with their new Marxist agenda.

Until the BNP can obtain an overall majority holding the balance of power is key. I do believe we are on the way though and that Yellow (libdem) Labour are dead in the water already. Do they hold by elections in our enriched capitol?

By the way Ed, was my earlier Parker/Rolls Royce line not good enough to be printed…? Couldn’t resist a bit of fun.

I missed that one, Mike. Must have been duty ‘Ed’ at the time. - Ed

There is still a substantial amount of work to be done on converting more voters to the BNP.
Get the photo copies of your favourite articles from the website and show them round. I would say we can each get 4 voters a day thinking.

    Good ideas are:-
    1. Boys flogged in Muslim ritual,
    mothers are interested.
    2. Children in Need funds to where suicide bombers operated.
    3. Left Wing Loonies at RWB BNP Festival.

Please point out the website address, press on the BNP. Might it be that we are more numerous than them?

    Your thoughts Ed?

    Agreed, ianpenrhyndd - Ed

  15. SimonGB on August 20th, 2008 8:27 pm

    Dear French Mike,

I believe the taking back of this beloved country starts with London, then we will start to see a snowball effect, Mr Barnbrook will get the job he deserves in the end, its unavoidable…..then all will hear the mighty lion roar, & the sound will echo into the distance. The quiet revolution gets larger & louder…

    From the Torygraph:

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1542634/Cameron-as-leader-of-the-Slightly-Silly-Party.html

It was the 1980s and in some strange, New Romantic way the waistcoats and tails may have seemed fashionable.

As members of the Bullingdon dining club, which dates back more than 150 years, David Cameron and his friends were obliged to wear the outfits for their annual photograph.

But within hours of the photo being taken, the 10 young men were wreaking havoc on Oxford, where they were all at university.

One of them, said to be Ewen Fergusson, threw a plant pot through a restaurant window and the police were called.

Some tried to make a getaway but were arrested and thrown in police cells overnight.

“The party ended up with a number of us crawling on all fours through the hedges of the botanical gardens, and trying to escape police dogs,” said Boris Johnson, who was among those arrested. “And once we were in the cells we became pathetic namby-pambies.”

Now, in 2008, these posh morons think they should run our country. It’s depressing to think that my family have spent most of their adult lives voting for this rabble. I think a couple were even members at one time (and may still BE members). Oh dear.

Does this really surprise anyone? What does one expect with Boris ‘The Baffon’ as leader!

  18. Winston on August 20th, 2008 8:40 pm

Love (no pun intended) the picture accompanying this article, of our illustrious effeminate pair holding hands as if they have just had one of those ‘civil partnership ceremonies’ that ZaNuLabour introduced ‘on their watch’ as it were. Then again, ZaNuLabour also introduced (by law) our children to ‘alternative lifestyles’ to be rammed down their throats at an early age. Have you noticed how Lady Cameron has a voice as soft as boiled asparagus?

Never heard of Tim Parker until I heard of him here - actually that is a half truth because I had seen a piccy of him, if indeed it is a him. What is it about these British ‘establishment’ types that they all have to look (and sound) like cross dressers? How can such girlish looking/sounding types ever expect to be taken seriously on this dangerous political world stage? In the case of Kosovo (that western raped heart of Serbia) the rabid former KLA terrorist, with a voice as hard as granite and looks to match.

This is a dangerous world we live in at the moment and we need people who both look and sound like men to command respect by the dangerous male looking and male sounding politicians who lurk out there. The likes, looks and sounds of Chairman Nick Griffin, Deputy Leader Simon Darby and London Assembly Member Richard Barnbrook, to name but three, immediately come to mind.

The likes of Lady Cameron, Mrs Johnson (and Miss Milliband) should get back to their knitting and whatever other shemale like tricks and antics they once got up to behind their closed, former Etonian doors.
