More Labour Lies: New ‘Points Scheme’ Will Increase Immigration Invasion, Not Decrease It

August 19, 2008 by BNP News              Print this post Print this post            Email This Post Email This Post

The Government’s claim that their new Points Based system will result in lower levels of immigration is pure spin, according to think tank Migrationwatch.

According to Sir Andrew Green, chairman of Migrationwatch, the scheme has “no limits and, in fact, will probably result in even higher levels of immigration.”

“It is so complex and bureaucratic, with potentially 26,000 job titles, that it is highly likely to lead to chaos and confusion, increasing the scope for abuse,” according to Sir Green.

(Illustration: The full extent of the immigration invasion is revealed in this passport control desk picture at Heathrow: a black African-origin “UK immigration official” decides on the entry status of a Muslim family into European Britain. This is a scene one could not invent even if one tried to write a satire.)

“Piece by piece the Government’s case for the highest levels of immigration in our history has been dismantled, most recently by the House of Lords Economic Committee. Yet, once again, the government have ducked the issue of limits to the numbers admitted,” said Sir Andrew Green, Migrationwatch chairman.

“The numbers could well take off as employers emulate their competitors, leaving the Home Office struggling yet again,” he said. ”Including students, we could see nearly half a million applicants a year. On past form, the Home Office will not have the staff to check the authenticity of applications. If so it will be only a matter of time before they simply go through the motions for the sake of appearances. As we have seen in the past, this leads to chaos and, eventually, collapse — as in the case of the asylum system three years ago.”

In its analysis Migrationwatch lists ten specific concerns with the Scheme. The first being that the very basis of the scheme is flawed because, as the recent House of Lords report conclusively demonstrated, there is no significant benefit to the host community from large-scale immigration, yet the new scheme assumes that there is.

“Its main effect will be to open the skilled section of our labour force to cut price competition, thus reducing the incentive for employers to train British staff,” said Sir Andrew.

Furthermore, the bar has been set very low. Anyone with a job offer and a Bachelor’s degree need only earn £20,000 before tax. This is less than the average starting salary for a graduate,” he added.

The government calls it an “Australian style” system when in fact it is entirely different. The Australians start with a limit and select within that total. The UK scheme maintains the current ‘no limits’ philosophy.

Furthermore, all work permit holders can become qualified for settlement in Britain and later for citizenship, whether or not their skills are needed beyond the short term.

“Because of the complexity of the scheme and the likely scale of applications there is bound to be abuse and, given the absence of embarkation controls and the legal and practical obstacles to removing people the numbers could well get out of hand,” said Sir Andrew.

“The government are now promising to listen. They would do well to listen to the 75% of the public who wish to see a substantial reduction in immigration — certainly not an open ended conveyor belt adding still further to the numbers we already have from Eastern Europe. . . . The bottom line is that a Points Based System without a limit is worse than pointless.”

Immigration at current levels is turning Britain into a country very ill-at-ease with itself. It imports poverty, increases social tensions, crime, public health problems such as TB and HIV, and creates parallel communities. Anthony Browne argues for a zero net immigration policy and demolishes many of the myths used to justify mass immigration.  Buy it from Excalibur here.

Righteous anger & political action:

The British National Party believes in telling the truth, even if it is sometimes uncomfortable to hear or offensive to those who would rather bury their heads in the sand than face real problems in our society. But while we often pass quite critical comment on the impact of immigration, multi-culturalism and alien religions on the indigenous people of our lands, we have no animosity towards immigrants, their descendants or the followers of non-native religions. Nor do we intend to encourage others to feel such animosity, or believe that anything we have to say is likely to 'stir up hatred' against anyone.

In fact, we believe that by providing a peaceful and Constitutional outlet for the anger and the frustration felt by millions of our people over the undemocratic transformation of our country by our political masters, the BNP actually defuses tensions. Where there is 'hate' we seek to turn it into righteous anger and political action against the only people who deserve to be hated - the politicians who use our taxes to turn our country into a place where we often feel like strangers in our own land.

The Immigration Minister Liam Byrne “represents” Hodge Hill, Birmingham. In the very highly enriched Washwood Heath ward, a third of residents have never worked or are long-term unemployed. Among young men, the figure is 40 per cent. Hodge Hill has one of the lowest rates in the country for participation in employment, it is the lowest I believe.

And yet still this half-wit Byrne wants to cram more and more in.

So many immigrants arrive in this country without anything to offer, except the offer of taking.
I can only assume logically then, that if immigrants come here with nothing and no points, we will be handing points out like we hand everythnig else out to them.
What! no points, here have a bucketful..sorry?, not enough for your dependents, here have some more!.
Still, I expect the non political in our society are happy. They probably think immigration is now under control!.

  3. stevegray2008 on August 19th, 2008 12:36 pm

    Points eh?
We can’t see the point of this at all!

It is probably considered racist for a white person to decide if a “ethnic” person can enter the country.

  4. midenglander on August 19th, 2008 1:14 pm

We obviously need more welfare scroungers, potential criminals, pressure on our NHS, Education system and housing stocks.

We clearly need all the challenge to the stability of our country we can get. Isn’t the Government just wonderful in the way that it cares for us all?

Then to top it all off, unemployment is set to reach two million. So, it would appear that those new immigrants, the ones who are prepared to work that is, are required as competition for the British jobs that were promised for British workers.

There is no point to points. We need to be in the same position as we find ourselves in the European Song Contest, NIL POINTS.

The 25% of who welcomes immigration are immigrants.

NuLabours super plan is for another 25% by the next election!!

The photograph used to head this article clearly shows the scale of the problem. Four things dressed looking like they escaped the camping section at Millets present themselves at immigration. The child is doing the talking, because the adults can’t speak English. It is unlikely that the older bat lookalikes will ever be motivated to learn English as they can make a good living from benefits.

This attitude of separatism and unwillingness to conform, passes down the generations, along with a dependency on benefits. That ridiculous garb should be banned in the UK, and people who can’t speak the official language of the country should be rounded up and sent home. It’s got to be cheaper than providing endless translation services every time they catch a wing on a parking meter and want to sue the council for it.

As for the benefits system - link it to community service as the government propose. Unemployment benefits, in particular, should only be paid once the claimant has dug sufficient ditches or collected enough litter. There’s nothing noble about sitting at home watching Trisha all day long.

Interesting picture encapsulating all that is wrong with Nulab policies. The reality, as we all know, is that whites are discriminated against in our own lands.
Therefore, on the one hand, it is acceptable to flood the country with people alien to the British way of life while marginalising the very people whose ancestors suffered to build that way of life.
By way of practical example, a nearby university is advertising for a particular post. Their recruitment equality/diversity drivel welcomes all, bar white boy.
My many qualifications are negated and an application would be a waste of a stamp.
This scenario is played out up and down the country by the treacherous, pocket-lining scum we call our government.
From my earliest days on Clydeside I never thought that I would grow to utterly despise Nulab, the Marxist traitors that have destroyed my country.
Even their glorious supporters in the Guardian are hot under the collar, judging by their comments to the Yvette Cooper article.

I bet jobs like snow clearing, zeppelin maker and cannabis farmer are amongst the 26,000 jobs.

  13. Pop Larkin on August 19th, 2008 4:07 pm

    OK. So humor me here.

As it would seem that the majority of the indigenous population of England object to the MASS immigration policies of New Labour & all the corresponding sponging of English Tax payers money, imported criminality’s, terror, deadly weird deceases etc etc etc, then when the BNP get into number 10, as we will sooner or later, can there be a revision of the legal residential status of all these unwanted & unneeded foreigners that are being granted asylum, citizenship & permanent residence under the policies of the current unwanted & hated government? I know that the EU would immediately stop such reviews but if we had already pulled out of this bogus, corrupt Marxist alliance, would there still be possible to review all granted immigration status issued during the reign of New LAbour ( seeing as the majority do not want unfettered immigration)?

    BNP, YOUR ONLY HOPE!

  14. Mandala on August 19th, 2008 4:08 pm

As ex-Councillor New Labour Paul Thomas of Pontardawe told me on the doorstep “we haven’t got a problem with immigration.” He lost by a landslide.

Interesting that even the politically neutral group Migrationwatch is expressing the same cycnism about the government’s immigration reforms as the BNP. The next time anyone tells you they have doubts about the BNPs warnings about the scale of pending immigration, just ask them to check out MigrationWatch.

The picture says it all. It appears that they can send ‘illegal immigrants’home after all.
In Norfolk at the moment there is a case of an English lady with terminal cancer being looked after by her daughter, saving the state money. Nothing wrong in that, you may say. Her daughter was born in America, brought up in England, trained as a nurse here and spent the past 16 yrs in Austrailia. She came back here, leaving family and job to look after mum. Now the Home Office wants her out.
This comes down to our brilliant Home Secretary, one Jaqui Smith (I think that is her name, traitorous bitch sounds better)

  18. Pilgrim on August 19th, 2008 7:19 pm

According to Radio 4 this morning, Spain is offering lump sum payments to non-EU immigrants to encourage them to go back home. Our ‘Government’, on the other hand, wants to increase immigration in spite of the dire economic situation and the worsening social problems which this unwanted, unneeded, unconsented immigration has caused. When are the dimwits in parliament going to get it through their tiny little brains that they are wrong, wrong, wrong.

  19. JIM GREEN on August 19th, 2008 7:54 pm

Brown is just trying to get more votes, lets face it he isnt going to get many votes from the indigenous population.

Of Course Immigration will Increase, we have been working for decades on this EU Project, when It’s completed we will rule with an Iron fist over a vast Nation of peoples called the European Union.

a 2004 piece replying to four ‘facts’ of Tony Blair (or rather his speechwriters). ‘… All the facts are either outright misleading, or at best highly contentious.’

Blair Fact 1: “the movement .. labour into and out of the UK is, and always has been, absolutely essential…”
Blair Fact 2: “The country is already highly selective…”
Blair Fact 3: “.. the UK is not a particularly high migration country”
Blair Fact 4: “Those who come here make a huge contribution…”

Read Browne and curse speechwriters and liars.

  22. Valentine Gray on August 19th, 2008 9:04 pm

It is nothing but a systematic campaign from the propaganda ministry to persuade the indigenous population to co-operate in cultural and ethnic suicide, blinded by lies, deceit and ambiguity, “Dysgenics” in fact. The Common Purpose at this very moment in this country and Europe is selecting mini Gruppen-fuhrers, indoctrinating them to take leadership roles in the eventual triumph over Nationalism, immigrants are the pawns in this ghastly experiment and us Brits the victims. Why else is this going on? AD BELLUM PURIFICANDUM

  23. apest on August 19th, 2008 10:02 pm

Another fact I did not know until today about immigration, is that in 2004 the UK held 3% of the worlds refugee population, this statistic was complied by UNHCR. Just think about what it is today with all the other factors taken into consideration; the open door policy, legal / illegal immigrants as well as those that remain undetected, or are stuck in the system and what it could give rise to in the future. Scary isn’t it?

“some of the keys on my laptop have given up the ghost (possibly from over-zeaous posting on the UK’s foremost political website) so it’s very likely I post the odd word in error.”

The most frequently used letters and numbers also wear off after a while too. This is just a tip and nothing to do with the topic: when you are using a laptop at home, connect a cheap keyboard. Keep the inbuilt one for outside use only. I actually use surgical type gloves that are widely obtainable when I’m typing on a laptop, to help prevent natural acidity from the fingertips wiping off the letters.

  25. Erinmore on August 19th, 2008 10:48 pm

Around 5 years ago, an article I read estimated that 34% of the Home Office immigration operatives were non-white immigrants and asylum-seekers themselves.

I dread to think what this percentage now is.

This is truly grotesque. Our native countries and general infrastructures are fast becoming hideously black and brown.

Matters have long since reached the point in time necessitating the most radical and far-reaching solutions available to us.

  30. Stringbag on August 20th, 2008 10:07 am

sad4uk - ‘Migrants contribute to the economy, putting more into the exchequer purse than they take out.’

From your Daily Mail link, this Zanu statement of course simply isn’t true. Prof Bob Rowthorn, an academic economist, found - using gov’t supplied information - that the increase in GDP attributable to migration was in fact somewhat less than the increase in population due to migration. In pure economic terms, leaving aside the other social “benefits” of enrichment, it is per capita GDP that counts.

Even this makes the big assumption that the government knows how many they have let in; as they obviously don’t the real position is clearly much more unfavourable than Prof Rowthorn has found.

Further it doesn’t include all the immigrants we are now supposed to think of as British. The cost of the various Pakistani enclaves must be absolutely stupendous. Their full time employment rate is much less than ours - therefore enormous transfer payments are made by us to them ie Social Security. Not least of course because of the large family sizes they produce, which are overrunning the country. There is the cost to the NHS of treating the effect of recessive genetic marriage caused by their predilection for first cousin marriage.

Then there is the enormous cost of the heroin trade in terms of social cost and criminal justice costs, in which Pakistanis are some of the major players.

Overall it is an horrendous, appalling situation.

We are really lucky to have them all here.
Police said the number of plants is still being established, but it appears the house, on Ballywatt Road, was a “cannabis factory”.
They said the fire seemed to have been started maliciously and racist graffiti was daubed on the walls.
No one was at home at the time.
Crackdown on cannabis factories has resulted in the charging of more than 50 people, all from south-east Asia, and the seizure of drugs worth millions of pounds.

Why did I go to school for 13 years, was there any point?

I currently work in the steel industry in a factory and am experiencing the immigration issue first hand.
At my factory in the last 2 years there has been 12 permanent jobs given, all of them to Polish workers, and at nearly 25,000 per annum this is not exactly low paid. The agency workers at my factory are all Polish and I am hearing from friends that work agencies reject them due to being full with Polish workers.
I feel that my employers are being discriminative towards English people. The very people whose grandparents fought to keep this country as England. Yet if we complain we’re branded as racist.
I feel that my education has been a waste of time, as employers employee unsafe migrants who cant understand simple words such as “stop”. How is this safe in a factory enviroment? There are no checks on there criminal history, medical conditions etc.
I am proud to call myself a true Englishman, but like many others who have to work with these people, am totally disgusted with the number of immigrants getting work over English people.
I know exactly who I’m voting for next time.

More proof, if any were needed, of what the liblabcon are doing to us.

I was thinking I could immigrate to Iceland maybe. Sure to be a nice white Christian area. A bit cold though. I am told this summer we are experiencing an Icelandic summer. Surprise surprise I found out they have people who wish to build a Mosque. Which just proves they have a plan to populate the whole world and make it Islamic.

  36. royalecraig on August 20th, 2008 8:56 pm

The Govt is misleading us again.
If you had 60 Trillion People here, the GDP would be higher of course it would.
But they would all be working for Peanuts and squabbling (read fighting and killing) over whatever work / money / food they can find.
GDP Per capita would be Peanuts, but the Gross GDP would say look, GDP has increased.

They are packing us in like sardines, forcing down wages to increase their Profits.

This is not where we want to go, we want to reduce the population creating more open space, reducing Pollution, overcrowding, housing shortages, crime, landfill problems. We are being treated like cattle, we are being farmed and we have to stop them.
Of course GDP has increased, they are stuffing more poeople into the country it is Individual GDP that is an important indicator of where we are going, and we are going Down.
