According to the Government and independent academic demographics experts, Britain is about to witness unprecedented population growth, ranging from five to ten million, over the next twenty-five years.
With the birth rate of indigenous Britons just about at “replacement” level at best, it is clear that almost all this future growth will be down to either immigration or births within migrant communities already established here. We would refer sceptics to both the government’s Office of National Statistics (OS) site or to Migration Watch UK’s highly informative site, for confirmation.
The impact of population growth is already manifesting itself in many undesirable ways. Quite apart from the growing pressure on homes, education, health services, employment, social welfare, water availability, policing, energy demand, traffic congestion and landfill sourcing, is environmental destruction to provide the development land needed for the homes required to facilitate further immigration.
For some years now the availability of homes, for either purchase or rental, has been “drying up” – with demand increasingly exceeding supply. As a consequence both rents and mortgages have been pushed beyond the reach of many. This, in particular, has affected our young couples - resulting in many having to live at home with mum and dad and put off having a family of their own. The latter, of course, contributing to the stagnation in the indigenous birth rate.
Yet despite the obvious fact that the millions of migrants who have arrived in Britain over recent decades have had a massive negative impact on affordable home availability, a succession of governments have failed to take the obvious step – halting immigration – to prevent matters from getting even worse.
Instead of halting immigration the Labour regime has announced that it wants to build over two million new homes in Britain over the next twenty years – whilst, at the same time, allowing in anywhere between five to ten million more migrants! Clearly Labour’s mammoth house building programme has only one objective – providing the homes needed to facilitative their nation-wrecking immigration programme!
But all these homes have to be built somewhere. And although a significant proportion of them will be built on brown field sites in urban areas, the fact remains that the bulk of them will have to go on green field sites – resulting in the destruction of tens of thousands of acres of pristine countryside and green belt!
Only this week it was reported, in the regional media, that the Labour regime is to “pressurise” local authorities in the West Midlands into building almost 500,000 new homes in that region between now and 2028. This is partly in response to a regional baby-boom fuelled largely by births within the huge migrant communities already established in that region, but mainly to provide homes for the waves of migrants expected to settle there over the next two decades!
But why, the BNP asks, do we need to sacrifice our precious countryside to facilitate immigration that is neither wanted nor needed? We should slam the immigration door firmly shut and build homes only for our own people on brown field sites. In other words - follow through on the BNP’s “Sons & Daughters” home building programme. That way not only do we preserve our irreplaceable countryside from unnecessary destruction, provide affordable homes for our own people but also protect the quality of life of all our people from the dire environmental consequences of engineered gross overpopulation.
Yet - as with homes, education, health services, employment, social welfare, water availability, policing, energy demand, traffic congestion and landfill sourcing - the destruction of our countryside is an issue that arises directly out of overpopulation. And overpopulation is, without a shadow of a doubt, fuelled almost entirely by immigration!
Is this why the Green Party, for instance, refuses to recognise immigration as the greatest threat to this country’s habitats, our countryside and our quality of life? Is this why they campaign against the symptoms, rather than the predominant cause of these critical environmental threats?
So, once again we ask: Immigration - what is it good for? Absolutely nothing!

Short sightedness?! It’s a combination of lazy, unpatriotic government in the pockets of the CBI and big business and the last decade of neo-Marxist twisted ideology and incompetence from New Labour.
There are three major problems facing us all this century:
One. Nuclear weapons in the hands of religious fanatics;
Two. Overpopulation worldwide; and,
Three. Stupid politicians.
Solve problem three, and one and two become less problematic. But not solving number three means planet earth may become another barren ball of dust and ice in the ether.
All politicians are un-patriotic traitors to this great country, & should be dealt with accordingly!
When I was born in Kenya Colony, there were about 4 million people living there. There are about 32 million living there today, the greater part of whom are below the age of thirty. From an economy of full employment, we now have a situation where at least 50% of the population are unemployed. There is a desperate shortage of land, and this means that traditional cultures (such as that of the Masai) are unable to perpetuate themselves, giving rise to sordid social problems and filthy sexual diseases. Yet the population keeps on growing, in no small part due to international aid programmes which permit much larger families than would be the case in nature. There is a “youth bulge”, where with more than 50% of the population below the age of 30, there are literally too many angry, landless, hopeless young men. Thus the recent horrific inter-tribal conflicts in that once peaceful land.
When my family moved to South Africa in the sixties, there were approximately 22 million people in that country, with once again a very stable society and near full employment. Today there are probably more than 45 million people in South Africa, with real unemployment exceeding 50%. Once again, there is a preponderance of violent, angry young men in the population, which in South Africa (aside from the occasional anti-immigrant outbursts), expresses itself as a social breakdown and extremely high violent crime rates, indeed, one of the world’s highest murder rates, exceeding even that of Iraq 2 years ago. The gulf between the very rich and the grindingly poor is growing wider and wider, just as it is in Britain.
In Britain the immigrant groups are also responsible for a “youth bulge”, particularly the Muslim immigrant groups, and we see already a social collapse of sorts within their societies, with confused elders and parents watching helplessly as their young men (and women more often than not) are drawn to violent Jihadist Islamic-supremacist extremism. This can and will only grow worse, both because of the established Muslim immigrant groups’ much higher fertility, and because of what seems to be an endless stream of fresh Muslim immigration from Asia and Africa.
We are making for ourselves in Britain a rod with which these jobless, frustrated, angry young Muslim men will beat us native British. We are helping create a society in which very soon, very soon indeed (probably as early as 2015, when 40% of our electricity power-generation is lost due to EU regulations, with no plans in place to replace this loss, and our economy collapses), massive unemployment will become the norm in Britain, and although the native population does not have a youth bulge, the Muslim immigrant population does:- this anger will increasingly be directed at the native population.
I haven’t read the article or comments yet, but someone is doing a good job on the graphics these days.
It’s time to draw the line before there really is nothing left.
@ Askari: Boy do we need the benefit of your experience! My own more lightweight thoughts are as follows:
Thomas Malthus’ predictions have fallen short of actual experience, so far. He did however, recognise that people could be educated and made to understand the benefits of having fewer children and raising standards of living instead; something which has indeed been happening in developed countries.
When the internal combustion engine did away with the necessity of draught animals and all their feed, it also did away with much land hitherto devoted to growing fodder and bedding for all that horse-power. The Haymarket in London was just that; a “garage forecout” at which you could “fill up” with hay for all your livestock. Haywains were the “juggernauts” of their era.
The discovery of the use of oil for traction is, I believe, what liberated vast tracts of land and manpower for growing food for humans rather than for beasts of burden and helped make more food available at cheaper prices, with populations growing to take up the slack. Now, when oil is running out and we are again having to grow fuel, suddenly there’s not enough space to grow human food, so that surplus populations will have to be depleted in conformity with that decreasing availability, either voluntarily, by force of man or force of circumstances.
About 95% of hay meadows have been lost since the turn of the last century and have been built upon - and will be built upon even more in the future. The Greens are worried about the loss of flower species, but maybe with peak oil we will need draught animals again one day (shades of Borat’s car) but we will be at a great disadvantage against, say, India, which still has a strong infrastructure of draught animals. Perhaps, not only will we have too many starving people, but not enough animal power and too few grasslands to support them. Maybe we should be importing horses and oxen rather than people - unless we foresee the use of excess manpower as hauliers? I can just see the Muslims cracking the whip, especially if what Askari predicts comes to pass, which seems all too likely. Yo-ho, heave ho!
Throughout our history and indeed that of Europe, a decrease in the working population, either by war or pestilence, has led to a demand for higher wages by those able to work. The ‘solution’ as far as employers were concerned, was to invent and innovate; the creation of machines and better working practices. Given the inexorable advance of modern day technology, our Victorian (or even Tudor ancestors) would have invented machines to allow five semi-skilled workers to do the work of a 100 immigrant fruit pickers - and modified the plant to make harvesting easier.
The only reason we are failing to invent and innovate is the supply of cheap migrant labour; although I harbour a strong suspicion this is a convenient smokescreen for uncontrolled immigration into the UK.
Time and again we are fed the canard that we need immigrants to pay taxes to look after an ageing population.
This would work if we imported Peter Pans who never aged or had children. Somehow, the politicians failed to take that into account and the ’solution’ to an ageing population, is to create many, many more mouths to feed who will eventually become old; thus needing more and more young immigrants. Are politicians really so stupid to have missed the fatal flaw in their ‘argument’ or were they just too busy lying to us?
We have an economic growth rate of 3%. This would, together with tight financial controls and getting our economically inactive (but able to work) population back to work, not only pay for the care of our elderly but allow our population to gradually decrease to a sustainable level - of say 30 million.
New machines will be developed over the next few years and together with robotization, will reduce the number of jobs suitable for humans drastically. Many of the Asians who came to work in the Lancashire mills in the 1960s, arrived just as the mills closed down and the work moved to the Far East; they are still here never having contributed to UK tax or pension schemes. The same will be true of many of today’s migrants as jobs are transferred abroad.
If we need to look after our elderly more cheaply, then set up home/hospital complexes in nice warm countries, thus giving them much needed jobs and facilities for their own population - and at relatively little cost to us compared with our own astronomical care home costs.
The problem of an ageing population is relatively minor and short term one that we should ride; the ‘solution’ is a disastrous long-term, complete mess that will lead to a civil war.
This is a great article, of which every word rings with truth. Lest anyone believes that things will improve greatly under the Tories (unlikely on this site) I would remind them of the words of their ‘hard line’ leader at the time of the last General Election in 2005, Michael Howard: “immigration has made our country better and stronger”.
The words ‘better’ and ’stronger’ must have undergone one of those Orwellian inversions, in which they end up with the opposite of their original meaning! I longed at the time to ask Mr. Howard, how the ethnic chaos which we now endure, could possibly be better and stronger than the mainly indigenous society which saw us through two world wars? I doubt if he could possibly have answered the question directly, but would have had to resort to a politicians evasion.
All of which just goes to show that there is only one Party with the policies and the will, to get us out of the mess; and that’s the British National Party.
A very timely reminder of the catastrophe awaiting mankind unless world population growth is curbed. Already, we are experiencing water, food and fuel shortages in many parts of the globe and the pressures for providing housing for people, is eating into the limited supplies of arable land. Yet we still have advocates for increasing immigration, boosting the birth rate and ‘more not less’ land clearance.
Often those who push the line ‘populate or perish’ are thinking purely in economic terms i.e. future taxation revenue to pay for social infrastructure etc. Some even regard birth control as sinful. As long as we have these archaic outlooks foisted on the rest of us, we cannot make any headway in reducing the world’s population to a more sustainable level. Does no national leader have the will to actually do anything about this matter? No sign of it yet.
I seem to remember a United Nations report on OVERPOPULATION in the last few days. One comment was that the present situation is UNSUSTAINABLE!
It seems that the Labour Party knows better than the UNITED NATIONS. As well as being nearly BANKRUPT financialy with a debt of £24,000,000 they are BANKRUPT moraly wanting to import more immigrants.
In addition our Existing Enrichment should be taught BIRTH CONTROL. The present situation is unsustainable, not my comment, The UNITED NATIONS.
It seems the BRITISH NATIONAL PARTY is in step with the UNITED NATIONS. Any comment Liblabcon Artists?
The BNP have said all this for years. put down as racism. We have to sort this mess out for our grandchildren. It will be to late if we leave it any longer. Get out, argue with everyone, ask them how they would sort it out and the only people who they find will do it right is the BNP. Lib/lab/con brought this scourge. Only the BNP will solve it - VOTE BNP
Well it is nice that the useless UN recognizes over population as a fact & a problem.
But they are unlikely to do much about it like everything else they comment on.
But we can sort out our neck of the woods because our population is stable but the immigrant population is not.
Once the undesirables go & we are no longer dictated to by the EU then everything else should fall into place.
We can turn the unwanted mosques & the empty tower blocks back into green & pleasent land for us to enjoy.
Some of the space the moslems at present take up can be used for free range pig farms & the like.
Maybe walk our dogs on the rest of it.
`Bedroom genocide` started in the late 60`s with the sexual liberation nonsense, (the pill etc.) and Western society deteriorated from that point on. The last thing this little island needs is a breeding contest between the various ethnic groups. This will only lead to poverty and social problems. Immigration must stop and repatriation started!
It already has led to poverty and severe social problems - Ed
The One Worlders are painting themselves into a corner with their lies, all that needs to happen now is for enough of the public to finally accept that the ruling classes are lying, corrupt (EU Accounts not signed off for 13 yrs, 80% of budget unnacounted for)deceiptfull, traitorous (transfer of Sovereignty) , genocidal (Demographics), kiddyfiddly despots (Liars Buggars and thieves).
